WHEREAS: |

After the closing of its doors in 1985, and it's final demolition, Hollywood Professional School became a memory kept alive only in the minds of it Graduates and attendees as a child of its times, and as such can never again exist as it once did; |

AND WHEREAS: |
| |
There will never be another HPS, and the Alumni and faculty of Hollywood Professional School, hereafter referred to as HPS, are a diminishing resource, when the last of us are gone, we will not be replaced; |

AND WHEREAS: |
| |
Most HPS graduates who have gone on to various careers in entertainment, the arts, and professions still cherish their memories of HPS, and the fact that HPS provided a fortunate opportunity to form friendships, working alliances, bonds, and lasting professional relationships that have served us well—for life, thus ensuring that HPS was an important element in Hollywood 's enduring cultural legacy; |

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: |

The Hollywood Professional School Alumni Association's Board of Directors and its Officers thereby now officially formed and dedicated to creating and maintaining an organization consisting of, and strictly limited to, former HPS graduates, attendees, and faculty who are actively willing and committed to marshalling important historical documentation relating to HPS; keeping the HPS spirit alive through the cultural, artistic, and academic activities of its alumni; sharing and communicating personal experiences, maintaining contacts, re-establishing old friendships, and forming new acquaintances from our ranks, as well as organizing and administering a series of scheduled social events. |
